Every time I purchased a podi in a store in India or the US, they had a strange flavor. Asafoetida(hing)?Preservatives? I am not sure. But PODI life delivers the true authentic homemade flavor without compromising the freshness. I instantly fell in love with the Crispy Garlic and made my way through the rest. The best part of about this set is that they are versatile. You can eat it in a typical south Indian way(rice, ghee, and podi) or add it to non-Indian dishes. I added them to stew, to bake veggies, and on eggs. If you are on the fence, I'd say get it. You won't regret it. I will now forever have PODI life in my pantry.

So easy to use and get the right dose!

Deciding what to start with when ordering from Podi can feel overwhelming—especially when your spice cupboards are already jam-packed. The sprinkler set is a lovely way to try four flavors and really get to know them.

I received the hearty sambar, nutty moong, OG gunpowder, and curry leaf. They’re all stellar! The sambar is a must for making really cozy and nourishing batches of beans/lentils. The nutty moong is currently a favorite on roasted cauliflower. The gunpowder and curry leaf are great on their own, but I’m obsessed with sprinkling some of each over popcorn drizzled with a little ghee. So good!

The Peeku sampler is simply perfect ! I’ve used all 4 in various ways from traditional (mixed in oil alongside dosa and idly) to fusion (avocado toast, caprese salad, pasta, on fruits, on cucumber slices) and loved it all. The coriander is a stand out ! My mother even said it tastes exactly like how her grandmother used to make. I highly recommend the sampler and plan to replace each slice when I finish the smaller bottles.
